If you own a sugar glider please remember to always keep your toliet lid closed. Many sugar gliders have fallen into toliets and then can't get out. I have talked to many owners who are devistated to lose thier babies this way. You also need to glider proff any area that your gliders can get to, check for holes in walls and around plumbing and seal with duct tape. Put infant safty covers on outlets, gliders have been known to stick thier hands in them. Make sure you are using a closed wheel that is glider safe and always check your pouches for loose threads or holes and replace them frequently. We just got in a little girl with 3 legs due to a injury. Make sure your gliders cage is closed securely, even here I have to be careful, they do have thumbs and can work latches if they try hard enough. Gliders can live up to 15 years if cared for and kept safe, so make sure you are doing all you can to protect and love your sugar glider. Happy Gliding! Angie
